Can I just write movie- do not recommend and be done?
One of the main reasons I want to watch a movie is because of the actors that are in it. Even when the movie looks dumb I just think, well this actor is in it so why would they waste their time and do a stupid movie? Which I know is a dumb way to think because they just do it for the money. But I decided to watch this movie for that reason. It had Natalie Portman in it and also Gina Rodriguez from Jane the Virgin, and I love the show Jane the Virgin so it can't be that bad right? I know.. dumb.
Honestly, I was interested half way through the movie. It's one of those movies that kind of keeps you interested and keeps you wanting to know what is actually going on, but then once it gets to the end, you either don't have any answers or the answers you get are just so stupid and annoying and it doesn't make sense.
So basically, there's this orb around some field that got there by like a meteor or something, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger and taking over more humankind. They send people in there to see what's going on, but none of them ever come back out... except for one guy. And this guy is married to Natalie Portman who is ex military and now a biologist. He comes back out and he's sick and totally different and doesn't know what's going on and so on. So she decides that she wants to go into the orb to figure out what is it because she feels like she owes it to her husband because she cheated on him with a big black man. Dumb reason. Anyway.. turns out that it's like alien like stuff and then she burns it all and it all vanishes... except! They are both now aliens! or something like that.
I did not like this movie obviously. It was super slow and it made no sense at the end.. like it wasn't a satisfying answer to anything.
